EMT-B Re-Certification Class

- Spring 2008 Re-Certification Guidelines
- CME Credit Information
- The following activities are generally allowed for CME credit, pending approval of the Director of Ongoing Education and/or the Medical Director.
- All GERMS-sponsored ongoing education lectures.
- Advanced Certification: PHTLS, WFR, CPR Instructor, HazMat, and others.
- Online CE: courses accredited by CECBEMS are acceptable for up to 12 hours per cycle.
- ALS Ride-Alongs: observation hours conducted with an ALS unit will be credited at a rate of 12 hours / 2 CE credits, with proper documentation. A maximum of 24 hours/4 CE credits may be applied per 2 year cycle.
